Selection Of Sir Leftski’s Tweets And Summaries Of Articles, 18th-27th February

Hello, friends.

And I expect you’re all as delighted as I am that Jeremy has finally – literally – seen the light, and is now supporting Britain’s membership of Our Customs Union, aren’t you, friends?

Modesty, friends!

Sheer modesty naturally forbids me from revealing the identity of the person who managed to persuade Jeremy to adopt this new policy, but suffice to say, you’re reading his words of wisdom right now!

Just between you and me, friends: Jeremy doesn’t actually know what ‘Customs Union’ means! He thinks it has something to do with Our Trade Unions, which is why he was so happy to support it. Which is why it may be a little trickier to persuade him to support Our Single Market, although I’m sure that some way of bamboozling the old fool converting him to the merits of SM membership can soon be found, especially if Our Polling Experts can convince him that he can win more votes that way Labour voters are anxious to avoid a Cliff-Edge Brexit.

Anyway, enough of this in-depth examination [Ha! – J.C.] of Labour’s evolving policy regarding Our Jobs Brexit, as we must apparently learn to call it. Here’s my latest selection of tweets. As ever, my thanks to everyone whose tweets I’ve mentioned, and to all who’ve contributed to the threads, which can easily be viewed, by dint of clicking on the tweet in question!

  1. Personally, I think this man should be locked up in one of his own suitcases and then left to die slowly and painfully for being so incorrect about all the lovely people in the world not trying to demonise peaceful Jihadists, democratic Stalinist IS peeps merely doing good things for the Poor, Momentum activists dedicated to social democracy, and Guardian journalists working round the clock in the East End with begging bowls.
