Selection Of Sir Lefty’s Tweets, 19th-25th January

Hello, friends.

And a – literally – very warm welcome to you all for this week’s bumper edition of tweets. [I see that you’ve gone for quantity over quality, Lefty  – although, come to think, if quality were the criteria, your blog wouldn’t exist at all. – J.C. Oh Jeremy! Talk about spitting in my face whilst stabbing me in the back while I’ve got my shoulder to the wheel, with my best foot forward and my head in the sand! – L.] And because it’s such a lot of material (32 tweets in all), I shall keep this introductory piece short. [Thank goodness for small mercies eh. – J.C. Shush, Jeremy! – L.]

So, without – literally – further ado, here’s my latest selection of tweets. As ever, my thanks to everyone whose tweets I’ve mentioned, and to all who’ve contributed to the threads, which can easily be viewed by dint of clicking on the tweet in question!

Hello, friends.

And I expect you’re all as disgusted as I am by the Far-Right Question Time and its Hate Treatment of Our Diane and Our EU, aren’t you, friends? Talk about hateful racist bigotry!

I have now – literally – fired off a terse, 250,000-word letter to Our BBC to register my disgust at the hate-filled, hateful hatred of the show and its presenter, the Hard-Right Bruce [formerly ‘Our Fiona’].

Not merely did it have a Leave supporter on the panel – the Hate Writer, the Alt-Right Oaktree [Oakeshott, Lefty! – J.C. Oh Jeremy! Don’t be such a pedant! – L.] of the literally Fascist ‘Spectator’, but it also had a Hate Audience who actually cheered the Far-Right Oakhampton [I totally despair! – J.C.] when she said – and here I quote exactly what I remember Our Owen saying what she said – “a no deal Brexit wouldn’t actually be the end of the world, you know!” Talk about how even Hitler wouldn’t have gone that far!

Anyway, that’s enough of my in-depth analysis [Ha! – J.C.] of the Hard-Right QT, which alas I haven’t yet had time to watch, owing to having been far too busy protesting about it. Here’s my latest selection of tweets. As ever, my thanks to everyone whose tweets I’ve mentioned, and to all who’ve contributed to the threads, which can easily be viewed by dint of clicking on the tweet in question!

Hello, friends.

And I expect you’re all as excited as I am about Our Parliament’s very wise decision this week – aided by Our Bercow, the People’s Squeaker – to make Hard-Right Blindfold Cliff-Edge No Deal Brexit impossible, aren’t you, friends? [Hang on, Lefty – it’ll be made more difficult, but not impossible, surely? – J.C. Oh Jeremy! I do sometimes wonder, when I hear you ask questions like this, about the depth of your commitment to Our Reformed EU! – L. No comment! – J.C.]

After all, as 97% of Our Opinion Pollsters have now conclusively proved, literally no-one wants Brexit of any kind any more, apart from a tiny handful of 17,410,742 racist bigots who represent nobody but themselves. So let’s hope that when Jeremy comes to power – which, as I’ve been shrewdly predicting for the last few years, will be by Winterval at the latest – he will hold Our #SecondPeoplesFinalSayToVoteRemain, or whatever it is we’re currently calling it, as quickly as possible, so that this issue can be – literally – put to bed once and for all, i.e. cancel Brexit.

Anyway, that’s enough of my in-depth analysis [Ha! – J.C.] of the last week’s developments in Parliament. Here’s my latest selection of tweets. As ever, my thanks to everyone whose tweets I’ve mentioned, and to all who’ve contributed to the threads, which can easily be viewed by dint of clicking on the tweet in question!

Hello, friends.

And a belated Happy New Year to you all, despite the risk of Our Bungled, Extreme Hard-Right Cliff-Edge No Deal Brexit, which would be almost as devastating to Our Economy – which Thatcher totally destroyed – as Our Millennium Bug and Britain’s failure to join Our Euro, which Our Experts also shrewdly warned us about at the time.

Anyway, that’s enough of my in-depth analysis of the essentially racist and patriarchal nature of Our Bungled, Extreme Hard-Right Cliff-Edge Brexit [Ha! – J.C. Oh hello, Jeremy! BTW, isn’t it time for you – as a passionate, life-long supporter of Our Reformed EU – to come out in support of Our #2ndPeoplesVoteToRemain, or whatever it is we’re currently calling it? – L. No comment! – J.C.]. Here’s my latest selection of tweets. As ever, my thanks to everyone whose tweets I’ve mentioned, and to all who’ve contributed to the threads, which can easily be viewed by dint of clicking on the tweet in question!
